Who I Am
A few years ago I stumbled across an interview with an inspiring individual involved in the rescue of sex-trafficked children. In his heartbreaking documentary “Operation Toussaint“, depicting the actual rescue of sex-trafficked children, depraved American “Sex Tourists” literally bought and exploited these children for their pleasure.
This led me to immerse myself in knowledge about this problem and discover solutions that might aid parents and their children.
While I myself are unable to rescue these children, it is my hope that parents and children will benefit from what I have learned and are willing to share.
The Beacon of Hope project, is a self-funded endeavor that offers information and resources from a variety of expert sources to parents and caretakers of minors.
My Mission
As an Advocate against Child Sex Exploitation & Trafficking, I create awareness about the dangers to our kids, which is amidst our communities. I am helping parents navigate the complexities of protecting their children in the digital age, by providing awareness and resources for parents.
My Ask
While many of us might want to avoid facing this uncomfortable topic, due to time constraints or other priorities, it is my hope that you might become inspired to share and support this fight against Child Sex Exploitation & Trafficking.
Learn about the dangers, how to identify the signs and share your acquired knowledge of this topic with your circle of friends.
My Motivation
A young boy on the beach is throwing starfish into the ocean
An older man approaches the young boy and asks “Boy – what are you doing?”
“The tide is low, the sun is high and if I don’t get them all back into the ocean they gonna shrivel up and die”
The man points to the boy and says “Look down the shoreline – there are thousand of them, there is no way you will get them all back. Do you think you can really make a difference?
The boy thinks for a minute, then starts tossing starfish back in the ocean, then turns to the older man and says
“I don’t know, but I know I’ve made a difference for that one”
